FM-200, the world’s leading clean agent, is a clean non-toxic gas which completely safe for people. FM-200 causes no breathing problems and won’t obscure vision in an emergency system and is safe for the environment.  Like other gas fire suppression systems, the FM-200 system discharges gas into the protected area after receiving a signal.  But unlike other gas systems, FM-200 does not suppression the fire by eliminating the oxygen in the area but rather attacks the fire at the chemical reaction level by removing heat – vital to a fire’s molecular structure.
