Illinois Fire & Safety receives Village Certificate of Appreciation!
On November 17, 2011, Illinois Fire & Safety was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation by the Village of Glendale Heights for a donation made to the Village in suport of their annual "Haunted Heights" event. The award was presented at the Village Board meeting and the event was televised. Illinois Fire & Safety is community oriented and supports many organizations with various projects throughout the year.
Illinois Fire & Safety receives community safety award!
On October 28, 2011, Illinois Fire & Safety was presented with the prestigious "Corporate Award" by the Illinois Fire Inspectors' Association at their Fire Prevention Week annual awards luncheon. The award is presented to a company that has provided "outstanding support of the association or a fire department which significantly improved a public education program or caused a change in the community that resulted in a greater awareness of life safety and fire prevention awareness". Mr. Ben Speer and Mr. Matthew Diefenbacher accepted the award at the luncheon on behalf of the company.
Earlier in the year, Illinois Fire & Safety donated a large 3 panel, free-standing trade show display that will be used at a variety of safety functions, including the Illinois State Fair. The display brings awareness to the public about fire extinguishers and their proper use.
In year's past, Illinois Fire has provided technical training to the association's member on various topics such as kitchen hood fire suppression systems and fire systems for paint spray booths.
We appreciate the on-going and often thankless work of fire inspectors statewide and we're very grateful for their acknowledgement of our contributions to further public safety!
